Universal
Vortical Singularity enlightenment on aurora
Based on unisonal
vortex mechanism,
the phenomenon of polar aurora could also be caused by the polar vortex of thermosphere;
its magnetohydrodynamics
(MHD) dynamo
effect results the rarefied atmospheric particles in the vortex column to
be ionized, electrically charged and vortically forms as glowing plasma on the
wall of vortex column. A MHD dynamo has three requirements: a
conducting viscous matter, rotation, and convection.
In the UVS worldview, the phenomena of large electric currents and magnetic storm could also be caused by the MHD dynamo effect of a spinning vortex wall that charges atomic particles in the atmosphere. These electric currents energized the electrons of atom that causes ionization. The two luminous colors of excited atomic oxygen on most polar aurora is a greenish glow at a wavelength of 557.7 nm, and the dark-red glow at a wavelength of 630.0 nm. See aUVS topic on "The fundamental of unisonal vortex mechanism" for detailed explanation on naturally occurred polar vortex.

The above images show aurorae are associated with various types of vortex in different shapes and sizes, see vortex definitions. These are evidence that aurora is caused by the polar vortex of thermosphere. Although Solar wind would have contributed to the intensity of polar vortices pair by perturbing the polar aurorae, it is not the direct cause for polar aurora to glow vortically; vortical interactions of an underlying polar vortex is the primary cause. Solar winds are streams of ionized hydrogen atoms while aurora on Earth is mainly the glow of ionized oxygen atoms.
UVS
qualitatively predicts that polar aurora is induced by polar vortex of thermosphere.
UVS qualitatively predicts that the electromagnetic storm in the presence
of an aurora is caused by the vortical effect of vortex.
Based on unisonal vortex mechanism, polar aurora could also be vortically formed in the polar vortexes of nested plasmatic sphere.
| Plasmatic polar vortex on thermosphere can be triggered and affected by focused precession effect from aligned planets in a Solar System alignment effect. The planetary alignment of Jupiter and Saturn on an approximate 11 years period with Sun and Earth would synchronize the activities on polar vortex of Earth, and sunspot of Sun.
Atmospheric vortical motion that causes lowering of troposphere altitude would bring down the atmospheric temperature structure towards the ground. See a UVS topic on "The geometrical structure of magnetosphere" that elaborates on the torus structure and the fundamental cause that forms electromagnetic polar vortex. See also UVS topic on "Vortical patterns of planetary nebulae" that illustrates on glowing atmospheres that could also have worked on the same principles, supposedly caused by the polar vortices of a diffused star, "Gas and dust tails of comet" and "Cosmic evolution of stars and galaxies based on UVS model" that elaborates on numerous mysterious vortical phenomena of nature. |

In the UVS worldview that is based on unisonal vortex mechanism, the phenomenon of Antarctica Ozone Hole is triggered by the polar vortex of stratosphere.
These polar aurorae of Jupiter and Saturn were also caused by the dynamo effect of polar vortices. The plasma glows were from excited atomic hydrogen as a result of dynamo effect of polar vortices.

~ With thanks to Dr. David P. Stern of Greenbelt, Maryland, USA for having ascertained that the glows of an aurora do not come from scattered sunlight, an established fact explained with Fraunhofer lines.
