The UVS visual inductive resolution on sunspot

Based on the UVS model, a sunspot is a manifested plasmatic unisonal vortex that has had vortically resonated to intrinsically spawn in the photosphere of the Sun.

has manifested in the vortical system of the Milky Way.

In the UVS worldview, the Solar System itself is a planetary vortical system with all the Solar System objects vortically revolves around the barycenter of the Solar System (BOTSS), and it spirals around the dual-core Galactic Center within a larger nested vortical hypersphere system; sunspot is a vortically manifested phenomenon formed by the external vortical interactions that have had intrinsically resonated in its nested vortical hypersphere.

From the UVS perspective, Sun and its planets have had vortically coalesced from the molecular clouds of stellar materials in a spiral arm of the Milky Way galaxy, and this predication of UVS is evidently supported with the discovered AB Aurigae star that was empirically observed to have had been vortically coalesced in its protoplanetary disk.

As observed, the protoplanetary disk formed around the young AB Aurigae star as shown in this image, distinctly demonstrates it has a ring torus force field in its nested spiral structure, and it also demonstrated a vortical void.

All Solar System objects vortically revolve around the barycenter of the Solar System.

This vortical hypersphere model that postulates a barycentric Solar System in the UVS worldview, is a paradigm shift from the mainstream endorsed solar nebular model that postulates a Sun centric Solar System.

From the UVS perspective, the underlying nested vortex of photosphere manifested by the precession effects of the Sun, renders the phenomenon of sunspot.

It is synergistically caused by a torque-induced precession that transforms the structure of the photosphere with its polar vortex pair. And then with its torque-free precession resonated on the photosphere, it spawns the plasmatic unisonal vortices at the focal points that manifest as the phenomenon of sunspots.

The UVS research predicates a sunspot is a plasmatic unisonal vortex that has spawned in the photosphere of the Sun.

Based on unisonal vortex mechanism, at the vertex where its intrinsic two-axis spin is crisscrossed on the photosphere of the Sun, it could resonate with its manifested torque-free precession to vortically spawn a sunspot.

The intrinsic two-axis vortical motions generated from inside-out of the nested spheroidal structure of the Sun, would render the effects of torque-free precession on its photosphere, and thus could spawn sunspots at the lower latitudes with the intensified solar jet streams that have had manifested around the boundaries of their polar vortex pair.

From the UVS perspective, the vortically manifested vortex eye on the photosphere is a depressed void area, whereby the usual presence of plasmatic viscous matter required for the thermal convection is vortically displaced.

The vortical eye effect thus optically renders the sunspot's inert dark center phenomenon; the vortical void limits convection and therefore the umbra region is much cooler and less illuminated than the surrounding.

The UVS research predicates the inert dark center of a sunspot is caused by the void of vortex eye that limits convection.

The cognitive paradox that renders sunspot as a mysterious phenomenon, was thus resolved with its underlying vortical structure and mechanism explicated.

All direct and indirect evidence illustrated herein pertaining to sunspot with the vortical manifestations of Sun's nested polar vortex pair, solar jet streams, sunspot clusters, and solar cycles, converged as strong evidence from the UVS perspective for suggesting that sunspot is a manifested unisonal vortex of photosphere as a result of a resonated precession effect.

Watch video clips on "An experiment of acoustic sound waves" and "Non-Newtonian Fluid on a Speaker Cone" that demonstrate the how mechanical force of induced seismic waves could interact in a high viscosity medium. In the experiment with some interventions, mechanically resonated standing waves with excitations in the medium can be observed to manifest a dynamic cluster of wrapped surfaces that resembles pairs of splitting dual-core vortex. Heuristically, when a synergetic of torque-induced precession and torque-free precession occurs at a focal point in the photosphere of the Sun, its could thus generate such standing waves.

The grounding for its epistemic theories of truth: The underlying vortical structure and mechanism of a sunspot as explicated with its hypothetical construct based on the UVS model, elucidated its delusional observations that render their misconception, mysteries, and anomalies. Thus, its cognitive paradox was simply dispersed, and all the related natural phenomena were then qualitatively analysed in the conceptual framework of UVS by inductive reasoning for explicating with their empirical evidence to predicate by abductive reasoning.

The polar vortex pair of the Sun

From the UVS perspective, the photosphere on both hemispheres of the Sun subjected to its rotation, becomes a forced vortex pair.

Paradoxically, at equator, the surface of the photosphere is on the highest potential plane, and at the polar center the surface of the photosphere it is at the lowest potential point.

The driving force for the solar polar vortex pair could come from the Sun revolving around the Galactic Center or its star system, and this effect could transform the forced vortex pair into a stable and long-lived free vortex pair in the photosphere at the two polar regions that cyclonically spin around the polar axis.

The pressure gradient rendered on the forced vortex pair by a focused tidal force with the Solar System alignment effect, largely comes from the aligned gas giants or their barycenters, and this could intensify the manifested solar polar vortex pair.

The extremely large and stable polar vortex pair of the Sun, renders the polar caps phenomenon as long-lived corona holes. These are where the coronal temperature and atmospheric density are suddenly dropped in the low pressure systems of the vortical voids of their vortex columns.

The UVS research predicates the long-lived corona holes in the form of polar caps of the Sun, are vortical voids in the polar vortex pair of the photosphere.

The solar jet stream pair

Based on the UVS model, the solar jet stream pair phenomenon observed along the equator is rendered by the ring torus pair of its nested polar vortex pair manifested on the photosphere; the solar jet stream pair is a substructure of its solar polar vortex pair.

The UVS research predicates the solar jet stream pair is vortex substructures impelled by the polar vortex pair of the photosphere.

In the UVS worldview, the barycenter of the Solar System (BOTSS) when interacts intensely with the Sun by aligning with other major planetary barycenters, would intensify the nested polar vortex pair on the photosphere of the Sun to manifest a pair of nested solar jet streams.

The UVS research predicates the solar jet stream pair is manifested by the intense vortical interactions of the BOTSS and the Sun by aligning with other major planetary barycenters.

From the UVS perspective, a sunspot cluster is impelled by the solar jet stream to intrinsically form. And a nested pair solar jet streams when intensified, would impel to manifest sunspot clusters to form in the nested polar jet streams that circulate along on both hemispheres of the Sun as had been observed.

The cognitive paradox that renders the mysterious phenomenon of solar jet stream, was thus meticulously resolved with its underlying vortical structure and mechanism explicated.

The fact that the empirically observed solar jet stream demarcates around a polar vortex, and with its cognitive paradox resolved, it is a qualitative proof for a solar jet stream is a sub-structure of its polar vortex.

When the solar polar vortex pair is intensified by a planetary barycenter alignment, its solar jet streams are thus intensified to manifest an increased number of sunspots in clusters along the solar jet streams. This underlying effect thus renders the observed sunspot cluster phenomenon.

The UVS research predicates a sunspot cluster is impelled by its solar jet stream and this is impelled by its polar vortex in a unisonal vortical motion.

This is similar to how an atmospheric polar vortex on Earth impels a polar jet stream, when intensified could manifests its tornado cluster.

The barycenter of the Solar System - BOTSS

In the UVS worldview, the barycenter of the Solar System (BOTSS), is a dominant vortical singularity of the Solar System.

The Sun in its composite apsidal precession exchanging angular momentum with all its satellites, vortically revolves around the BOTSS.

From the UVS perspective, the Sun spirals around the BOTSS in a composite helical motion to revolve around the dual-core Galactic Center of the Milky Way galaxy. In the Milky Way galaxy reference frame, the rotating Sun with its reactive oscillations carrying all its satellites is in fact spiraling in a helical path to revolve around the dual-core Galactic Center.

This infers the motion of the Sun encapsulated in its vortically manifested heliosphere, is primarily impelled and modulated by the vortical motion of the Milky Way galaxy. And the motion of the Solar System is a resonated two-axis vortical motion transferred from the motion of the vortically coalesced nebulous materials.

The Solar System is fundamentally a vortical hypersphere system that has had resonated to manifest in the nested vortical hypersphere system of the Milky Way galaxy.

The heliosphere with high-speed runaway charged particles that collectively exchange angular momentum with the Sun, would induce a significant mass effect that also significantly contributes to the actual barycenter of the Solar System.

Note: The conventional Solar System model does not factor in the mass effect of the ejected charged particles encapsulated in the wobbling heliosphere, which is approximately 18 trillion times the volume of the Sun. This suggests the actual barycenter of the Solar System is not the conventional barycentric coordinate, which was calculated without considering the mass effect of those ejected charged particles that propagate in spiral motion at an average velocity of 400-500 km per second, vortically pushed away from the Sun in the Solar System to fill the entire heliosphere. The volume of the Sun is ~1.412×10^18 cubic km, the mass of the Sun is ~1.9891×10^30 kg, heliosphere has an approximate radius of 122 astronomical units, assuming the average density of the Solar Wind is 4.0 atoms per cubic centimeter throughout the heliosphere, the mass of a proton is ~1.6726×10^-27 kg. And therefore a very sketchy calculation with omission errors for the total mass of supersonic protons in the heliosphere is only roughly 1.70x10^20 kg, but this could have a significant precessing effect on the Solar System in an overall angular momentum of ~7.67x10^28 kg m s^-1 with its 450 km average velocity, and this is apparently not a minuscule effect. If consider an upper limit for the density of solar wind at 7.0 atoms per cubic centimeter as suggested by the other solar wind research, the potential mass effect of protons in the heliosphere is approximately 6.75% of the Sun's mass.

Remarks: A 3D barycentric Solar System model with all Solar System objects and the major barycenters revolving around the BOTSS in vortical motion, is imperative for the correct understanding of the celestial mechanics. And as a matter of fact, the mainstream Solar System model with a static Sun postulated as the center of the Solar System is fundamentally flawed; it was fallaciously based on a cognitive paradox and therefore had critically suffered its foundational crisis.

The barycentric drivers of the solar cycle

In the UVS worldview, the intensity for the intrinsic precession effect of the Sun that causes sunspots to vortically spawn, is rendered by the barycenter effects of the Solar System.

From the UVS perspective, Sun vortically revolves around the barycenter of the Solar System (BOTSS), is as a result of the Sun is exchanging angular momentum with the barycenters of all other Solar System objects, their sub-satellites, and all other stuff that are vortically encapsulated in the vortical hypersphere of the Solar System. Sunspots are impelled by the nested polar vortex pair of the Sun with its pair of nested solar jet streams, and the nested polar vortex is manifested by the precession effect of the revolving Sun that rotates on its axis, which is precessing in the axis of the invariable plane to oscillate in its rotation.

Heuristically, the four gas giants are the dominating planets in the Solar System that exchange angular momentum with the Sun most significantly. Aand with superposition principle on the vortical effects of their barycenters when aligning with the BOTSS and the Sun, these nonmaterial entities could dominantly induce vortical motions on the photosphere of the Sun, and thus subliminally modulate the empirically observed solar cycle with their orbital forcing on the Sun.

Author's note: The concept for the barycenter of the Solar System was independently conceived with the visual inductive resolution of the UVS model. It was later discovered on the 9th of August in 2013 that a video clip titled as "SkyMarvels™ SOLAR SYSTEM BARYCENTER" also depicted a similar barycentric planetarium concept. Despite it was basically a heliocentric planetarium system set in the reference frame of a quasi Solar System Barycenter, it was nevertheless an excellent video presentation with its concept of the Solar System Barycenter (SSB).

In the Solar System barycenter (+) reference frame, the 3-body motion of the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn completes one composite revolution around the barycenter in ~20 years.

It takes ~10 years for switching from the inferior conjunction to the superior conjunction while the Sun revolves around the barycenter. And it then takes another ~10 years for switching from the superior conjunction back to the inferior conjunction to complete its composite cycle.

The not-to-scale animation as illustrated is the basis for a thought experiment to visualize how the Sun reactively revolves around the barycenter of the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn to make one composite cycle in a 3-body motion.

In the reference frame of a fixed barycenter of the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn for emulating the 3-body motion in this simplified setting, it could be perceived the Sun reactively revolves around this illustrated barycenter (+).

With this animation, it could be intuitively visualized that the Sun with its reactive motion revolving around the barycenter, aligns twice with Jupiter and Saturn by first forming as superior conjunction, and then forms as inferior conjunction for completing one composite cycle in this planetary 3-body motion.

Note: Jupiter and Saturn complete one composite cycle with the Sun in a period of ~20 years, and this could be segregated into four quarterly phases for categorizing its 3-body motion.

Phase 1 starts at the superior conjunction, and ends when Jupiter forms its right angle arrangement with the alignment of Sun and Saturn. Phase 2 begins and then ends at the inferior conjunction. Phase 3 begins at the inferior conjunction, and ends when Jupiter forms its next right angle arrangement with the alignment of Sun and Saturn where phase 4 starts. And phase 4 ends at the superior conjunction to complete a full composite cycle of the 3-body motion. In which, the barycenter of Jupiter and Saturn (BJS) completes one cycle around the Sun.

The reference frame of this simplified animation is fixed on the illustrated barycenter (+).

From the UVS perspective, in the actual planetary outset of the Solar System that largely involves the four gas giants, the alignments of the Sun and the BOTSS when they are periodically aligned with a significant barycenter formed by a group of the gas giants, they would render the solar minima and solar maxima phenomena with the orbital forcing on the Sun as a result of these barycentric alignments.

The UVS research predicates the solar cycle is modulated by the barycenters of the major planets that periodically align with the BOTSS and the Sun.

It is counter-intuitive and unthinkable to visualize the nonmaterial entities in the Solar System that could not be visually observed; the mystery of the solar cycle is henceforth irresolvable with the heliocentric Solar System model.

The concept of the barycentric alignment effect is fundamental to what modulates the solar cycle.

This UVS case study on the barycentric drivers of the solar cycle (Appendices) illustrates how the barycentric alignments of the major Solar System objects were modulating the past 24 solar cycles. These solar cycles are shown in this case study to have had been primarily modulated in an orderly manner by the four phases of the composite 3-body motion of Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn, and are perturbed by Uranus and Neptune.

The 5 solar cycles (As indicated with yellow arrows in the solar cycle charts above.) of the UVS case study were found to have had each skipped a quarter phase of the Jupiter-Sun-Saturn composite cycle, they therefore overrun and thus manifested as those much prolonged trough. The duration from solar cycle 04 maximum in 1788 Feb to solar cycle 05 maximum in 1805 Feb was thus prolonged to 17 years.

The is the data collection categorized in groups for the case study, it showed the four-phase composite 3-body motion of Sun, Jupiter and Saturn in an orderly manner. It show the barycentric alignments with Sun and SSB that correspond the the indivdual cases, ther perturbations of the Sun-SSB-BJS alignment, and also indicated the five negated quarter cycles (highlighted in yellow background).

The period of the 11-year solar cycle is merely a putative figure; it was averaged from the 24 solar cycles of 264.83 years (from 1755 Feb to 2019 Dec) with the periods of solar minima that range from 9-year to 13.6-year.

Note: The solar cycle 24 was announced by NOAA to have had ended in December 2019.

The barycenter of Uranus and Neptune (BUN) with a period of ~172 sidereal year, and 3 synodic cycles of the barycenter of Jupiter and Saturn (~59.3 synodic year) with a period of ~177.9 year, have a near barycentric orbital resonance that occasionally synchronizes.

In a ~177.9 year synodic cycle (From SC03 Max in 1778 May with >350 sunspots to SC19 Max in 1958 Mar with >350 sunspots) of BUN, Sun, and BJS, 4 of the 36 Sun-SSB-BJS alignments were negated, and thus had prolonged those 4 solar cycles. These negations of the BJS 3-body motion had occurred
before SC05 Min, SC07 Min, SC12 Min, and SC14 Min.

One ~20 year full cycle of the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn makes 4 alignments of Sun-SSB-BJS, so in ~9 full cycles (177.9/20 = 8.895) of this conjunction occurring in the ~177.9 year synodic cycle with the 4 phases of negated quarter cycles, the negations thus rendered the averaged ~22.38 year full solar cycle {177.9/(8.95 - [4/4]) = 22.377}.

In a span of ~264.83 years from 1755 Feb to 2019 Dec that had manifested 24 solar cycles, despite Jupiter-Sun-Saturn had completed ~26.5 half-composite-cycles (264.83/10), it had lost 5 quarter-cycles (or 2.5 half-composite-cycles) to the barycentric negations. This thus rendered the average ~11.03 year solar cycle {264.83 / (26 - 2.5) = 11.03}.

As shown with the animation below, it could be observed that when Uranus and Neptune were in the midst of phasing in and just phasing out their superior conjunction, the solar cycles from SC12 Max to SC15 Min were largely modulated by the Sun-SSB-BJS alignments.

In the above animation from SC12 Max to SC15 Min, the barycenter of Jupiter and Saturn (BJS) could be observed to be oscillating around the alignment of the Sun and SSB. And for every quarter phase of the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn in a 3-body motion when BJS aligns with the alignments of Sun and SSB, BJS demonstrated it was largely modulating the solar minima and maxima of the solar cycles. This is despite at times it was being perturbed and even being occasionally negated perculiarly by BUN with the orbital motions of Uranus and Neptune.

As shown with the animation, despite every quarter phase of the 3-body motion in these solar cycles manifested a solar minimum or a solar maximum, the phase 2 of the 3-body motion in solar cycle 13 did not manifest its anticipated solar minimum (BJS was in the opposition). It demonstrated the periodicity of the BJS moving around the BJSUN was largely correlated with every peak and trough of these solar cycles. This is also the case for the prolonged trough of solar cycle 13 Max with its phase 2 negation; the correlation of this prolonged trough is vividly demonstrated with the visualization of this animation.

Remarks: It is recommended to watch this closed-up animation on a smart phone so it could be physically rotated to track the SSB-BJSUN alignment at say the 12 O'clock position. Rotates the phone in the clockwise direction a bit every time the animation changes frame would see BJS revolve around BJSUN in a counterclockwise direction.

In the reference frame of SSB that aligns with the barycenter of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune (BJSUN as a cyan dot), the animation showed BJS (as a red dot) while it oscillates around the Sun-SSB alignment, it was revolving around the BJSUN with its clockwise differential revolution against the cyclonic motion of the gas giants.

And in the animation BJSUN had demonstrated it was subtlety oscillating around the alignment of Sun and SSB.

For SC14 Max, it is showing in the sunspot cycle chart with the Sun-SSB-BJS alignment there was only around 100 sunspots counts (traced with the roughly sketched yellow line). With reference to the sunspot cycle chart, the animation is also showing the oscillations of BJSUN in the Sun-SSB-BJSUN alignment had fluctuated the sunspots counts to above 175 in three upward spikes when BJSUN was aligned, and fell below 50 in three downward spikes when BJSUN had moved out of the alignment.

For SC12 Max to SC14 Max, it was demonstrated in the animation while BJS took around 22 year and 2 month to revolve around BJSUN. While it took around 10 year and 1 month for BJS to revolve around BJSUN from SC 12 Max to SC13 Max, it took around 12 year and 1 month for BJS to revolve around BJSUN from SC13 Max to SC14 Max with one negation for phase 2 in the 3-body composite motion of the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn. This infers the barycentric motion of BJS revolving around BJSUN is what largely modulates the integral solar cycle with two cyclical magnetic pole switching of the Sun.

Heuristically, the orbital inclination of BJS switching from one side of the reference plane to the other side when BJSUN is in the opposition phase of the 3-body motion Sun, BJS, and BJSUN, could be correlated to the switching of the Sun's magnetic pole and its integral magnetic cycle of two solar cycles.

Remarks: It would be necessary to thoroughly investigate the entire solar cycle records with an interactive barycentric planetarium application with the capability to indicate and show how the barycenters of the gas giants are dynamically revolving around the barycenter of the Solar System. Such an analytical tool capable of capturing and thus illustrates the alignments and motions of the barycenters more precisely with intricate details with resolved nth-body problems, should be very useful to correctly evaluate the barycentric alignments. With a higher sampling rate it then could accurately show how these barycenters with their occasional negations were correlating with the ~11 year solar cycle and the ~22 year integral cycle and causing the minor fluctuations.

Apparently, when Uranus and Neptune are in the midst of their superior conjunction, their modulating effects of the solar cycle by BUN were largely canceled out, and therefore could not significantly perturb these six Sun-SSB-BJS alignments (SC12 Max to SC15 Min) for triggering the peaks and troughs of these solar cycles.

And when Uranus and Neptune were in the midst of phasing out from their superior conjunction, the solar cycle from SC07 Min to SC09 Max had overwhelmed the Sun-SSB-BJS alignments with the perturbations of Uranus and Neptune. These six solar cycles nonetheless were all modulated in six successive phases of the composite 3-body motion of Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn with the periodicity altered by the alignments formed with the other two gas giants.

For most other cases of the entire 24 solar cycles, despite the Sun-SSB-BJS alignments were primarily driving the solar cycles in their successive quarter phases, the solar maxima and the solar minima of these solar cycles were also observed to have had been perturbed by the other gas giant alignments.

These insights applied on the planetary orbital elements of the major Solar System objects for its further development, could be useful for the quantitative predictions of the individual solar cycles on the periodicity of their quarter cycles, half-cycles, full cycles, the estimated solar peak magnitudes, and also the solar cycle fluctuations.

Hypothetically, the convective plasma in the inner layer of the photosphere when impelled by a significant planetary barycenter that is oscillating with the Sun-BOTSS alignment. This effect could be causing the oscillation underneath the photosphere in a cyclical manner to alternate its prograde and retrograde motions for switching the Sun's magnetic field.

When the inner layer photosphere switched to the retrograde angular motion after one solar maximum cycle, its cyclonic dynamo effect could be reversed to flip the magnetic pole of the Sun. And then when it switches to the prograde angular motion after another solar maximum solar cycle, its reversed dynamo effect would then flip the reversed magnetic pole back to normal. The dynamo effect could thus alternate the magnetic pole switching with one integral cycle of two solar cycles for forming its integral magnetic cycle.

This barycentric analysis suggests the hypothetical four-stage oscillating dynamo effect of the photosphere and an inner core of the Sun could render the 22-year integral cycle, which is largely modulated by the composite barycentric motion of Jupiter and Saturn (BJS) with the perturbations of the other two gas giants.

The UVS case study on the barycentric drivers of the solar cycle has unequivocally proven solar cycle is primarily modulated by the barycenter of the Solar System (BOTSS), the mass center of the Sun, and the prominent barycenters of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

The solar cycle mystery that had puzzled scientists for more than 400 years, was thus resolved from its first principle with the paradigm shift to a barycentric Solar System model.

From the UVS perspective, while the shorter periods solar activities are largely modulated by the barycentric resonance of Jupiter and Saturn with perturbations from the other two gas giants, the longer cycles for solar activities as discovered with the Hallstatt cycle and its quasi cycles, are largely modulated by the barycentric orbital resonance manifested by the gas giants in the groups that cyclically align with the Sun and the BOTSS.

The fluctuations of the solar cycle

The fluctuations within the solar cycles were further investigated by looking at their planetary arrangements on the date of those obvious up and down spikes in the solar cycle. These involved the alignments of Sun, SSB, the main and secondary groups of the 11 barycenters, and the 4 gas giants.

In the secondary case study for solar cycle 1 as shown with the below animation, it shows the haphazard alignments of planets and barycenters were largely correlated with the fluctuations of the solar cycle.

The finding of this case study warrants a thorough investigation of the entire solar cycle records in the barycentric planetarium set up.

The qualitative predictions for solar cycle 25

This is the visual analysis with a barycentric planetarium set up to qualitatively predict the peak and trough of the solar cycle 25.

This barycentric analysis is predicting the solar maximum of the solar cycle 25 would occur in October 2023 by the Sun-SSB-BJS-BUN alignment in phase 3 of the 3-body motion. And with the comparative analysis of the past solar cycles, it predicts at this solar maximum the Sun would switch its magnetic pole to the reversed state when SSB moves in between the alignment of Sun and BJSUN in solar cycle 25.

This Sun-SSB-BJS alignment will not be perturbed for BUN would be in the alignment for this solar maximum. This Sun-SSB-BJS-BUN alignment would not negate this solar maximum for there would be no conjunction of the four gas giants.

It is also predicting the solar minimum of the solar cycle 26 would occur in February 2030 if not negated by the BUN-Sun-SSB-BJS alignment in phase 4 of the 3-body motion. And with the comparative analysis of the past solar cycles, it predicts at the solar minimum of solar cycle 26 when SSB moves to the opposition of the Sun and BJSUN, the Sun would not switch its magnetic pole.

Disclaimer: This barycentric planetarium of Celestia is based on its quasi Solar System Barycenter (SSB), which is not the actual BOTSS. Consequently, the actual dates for the solar minimum of the solar cycle 26 could slightly vary for the case study of this solar cycle when the mass center of the Sun is positioned very near to the BOTSS. The ~59.3 year synodic cycle of Jupiter and Saturn

From the UVS perspective, a significant precession cycle that significantly affects the barycenter motion of the Solar System is caused by the near ratio orbital resonance of Jupiter and Saturn. And it takes around 59.3 years for these two gas giant planets and the Sun to approximately complete one synodic cycle.

In the orbital resonance of Jupiter and Saturn with a 5:2 near ratio, for every five revolving cycles of Jupiter having completed around the Sun in a period of approximately 59.3 years (11.86 yr x5), Saturn will complete a little bit more than two revolving cycles (29.4571 yr x 2 cycles = ~58.9 yrs) around the Sun with a slight angular phase shift.

Heuristically, assuming Sun revolves around the Galactic Center at a constant velocity, in the ~59.3 years orbital resonance cycle, when Sun, Jupiter and Saturn formed their superior conjunction with Jupiter moved nearest to its perihelion, with their barycenter positioned at the nearest point from the mass center of the Sun, it would render their minimum precession effect as a significant factor for decreased solar activities when coincides with the solar minima.

And when Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn formed their inferior conjunction with Jupiter moved nearest to its aphelion, with their barycenter positioned at farthest away from the mass center of the Sun, it would render their maximum precession effect as a significant factor for increased solar activities when coincides with the solar maxima.


The orbital resonance of Jupiter and Saturn takes ~59.3 years to complete one full cycle.


There is a ~59.3 year synodic cycle rendered by the almost alignment of the barycenter of the Solar System, the Jupiter and Saturn barycenter, and the Galactic center of the Milky Way galaxy.

This peculiar barycentric alignment happens when Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Galactic Center are almost in their inferior conjunction.

When the Earth is also almost aligned with this barycentric alignment during the June and December winter solstices, its torque-induced precession acting on the Earth would be at a maximum.

The planetary chart as shown, illustrates a recent ~59.3 year synodic cycle of the barycentric alignment had occurred in around 22nd December 2019 with the Earth was almost aligned with Jupiter and the Galactic Center during the winter solstice.

During the winter solstice, Earth, Sun, and the Galactic Center would also be quite aligned.

In the past, when the Earth was also aligned with this ~59.3 year synodic cycle of barycentric alignment, much severe geology events had also occurred globally.

In 21st June 2020 during the summer solstice, the Earth had made the near alignment again.

A "Great Conjunction" of almost aligned Jupiter and Saturn would occur on 21st December 2020 during the winter solstice. From the barycentric perspective, the effects of such a planetary torque-induced precession could render severe geology and atmospheric events on Earth globally. And these events would get from bad to worst while the Great Conjunction forms and thus intensifies its effects.

The Hallstatt cycle and its quasi cycles

What modulates the Hallstatt cycle hitherto has been a mystery.

From the UVS perspective, the discovered Hallstatt cycle and its quasi cycles with periods between ~2,100 years to ~2,500 years when looking at grand solar minima and maxima over the Holocene epoch, are largely rendered by the planetary cycles of the four gas giants.

The ~172 year sidereal cycle of Uranus and Neptune, is phase-shifted by ~25.7 degree in the invariable plane, it thus takes ~14 sidereal cycles (360 / 25.7) of Uranus and Neptune to complete a 360 degree turn in the invariable plane, which thus renders a ~2,408 year synodic cycle. This largely renders one of the discovered quasi Hallstatt cycle; this is the barycentric orbital resonance of Uranus and Neptune.

The ~178 year synodic cycle of in 14 synodic cycles of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, render a ~2,492 year synodic cycle. This synodic orbital resonance apparently is the causality of the upper limit of the discovered Hallstatt cycle and its quasi cycles that oscillate between ~2,100 years to ~2,500; this is the barycentric orbital resonance of the four gas giants.

In the14 synodic cycles of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune of ~178 year period, 14 orbital cycles of Neptune with an orbital period of 164.8 year would render a ~2,307 year cycle (14 x 164.8). This largely renders the other discovered quasi Hallstatt cycle. This is the orbital resonance of Neptune.

The lower limit 2,100 year quasi cycle of the Hallstatt cycle, is apparently rendered by the synodic cycles of Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus; the ~60 year synodic cycle of Jupiter and Saturn in ~35 cycles (60 x 35 = 2,100), synchronizes with ~25 orbital cycles of Uranus with an orbital period of ~84 years (25 x 84 = 2,100). This is the orbital resonance of Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus that synchronizes with the orbital resonance of Uranus.

Over the Holocene epoch when looking at grand solar minima and maximum, the various synodic orbital resonance with different combinations of the four gas giants orbital cycles, have the synodic cycles of ~2,100 year, ~2,307 year, ~2,408 year, and ~2,492 year.

These various synodic resonance cycles of the four gas giants, rendered the Hallstatt cycle and its quasi cycles.

Grand solar minima and maxima

From the UVS perspective, one of the criteria for causing a grand solar minimum is an extreme barycentric superior conjunction of the Solar System objects. This is as a result of the almost superior conjunction of Jupiter-Sun-Saturn has in overall balanced with all the other Solar System objects in a longer period precession cycle. Such a periodical planetary arrangement with the Sun approaching very near to the BOTSS during the trough period of a solar minimum would cyclically manifest a grand solar minimum.

The arrangement of Solar System objects on the 21st of June 1811 during the Dalton minimum, there was a superior conjunction with almost aligned Jupiter-Sun-BSUN (The barycenter of Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune). Jupiter was on the other side of the Sun from the other three gas giants.

The arrangement of Solar System objects on the 31st of March 2030 would be a superior conjunction of almost aligned Jupiter-Sun-Saturn and an aligned BJS-Sun-BUN. Jupiter would also be on the other side of the Sun from the other three gas giants. This arrangement could manifest a similar Dalton minimum trough level of grand solar minimum when it is synchronized with the trough period of the solar cycle 26.

Center of a star revolves at a lower velocity when it is nearer to a barycenter (+) with a small revolving planet.

The UVS research predicates the grand solar minima are largely caused by the planetary barycentric superior conjunctions when the Sun approaches nearest to the BOTSS during the trough periods of the solar cycle.

The low-pressure systems of the extremely intensified nested polar vortex on the Sun that coincides with a solar minimum, is the catalyst for manifesting a period of lowest solar activities for rendering a grand solar minimum period, and it would be synchronized with the Little Ice Age occurrence of the Earth especially during the winter.

In the UVS worldview that perceives gravity is a hyperspherical pushed-in effect, the alignment of Jupiter-Sun-Saturn in superior conjunction with the mass center of the Sun being cyclically pushed-in to one of the nearest positions from the barycenter of the Solar System (BOTSS) in the planetary n-body motion, would reduce the intensity for the planetary precession effects of a rotating Sun when it oscillates near the BOTSS at lower revolving speed with lesser angular momentum during a solar minimum, these effects thus minimize the intensity of the sunspot activities.

Remarks: From the UVS perspective, the atmospheric climate change on Earth is as a result of its precession effect with widened polar vortex pair caused by the orbital forcing of the Solar System objects with their tidal effects. These effects would manifest discernable cold climates in the low-pressure atmospheric systems of one hemisphere during its winter, and simultaneously manifest discernable warm climates in the high-pressure atmospheric system on the other hemisphere during its antipodal summer.

From the UVS perspective, one of the criteria for causing a grand solar maximum is an extreme barycentric inferior conjunction of the Solar System objects. This is as a result of the almost aligned Sun-Jupiter-Saturn has almost aligned with most of the other Solar System objects positioned at the same side of Jupiter. Such a periodically arrangement with the Sun approaching very far away from the BOTSS during the peak period a solar maximum would cyclically manifest a grand solar maximum.

When the grand solar maximum occurred in June 1126 during the Medieval Warm Period, there was an inferior conjunction with an almost aligned Sun-Jupiter-Saturn-BUN (Barycenter of Uranus and Neptune).

Remark: This hypothesis would require a longer period records of the solar cycle for their verifications with the ephemeris of a properly set up barycentric planetarium.

The UVS research predicates the grand solar maxima are largely caused by the planetary barycentric inferior conjunction when the Sun moves farthest away from the BOTSS during the peak periods of the solar cycle.

Center of a star revolves at a higher velocity when it is farther from a barycenter (+) with a larger revolving planet.

The high pressure system of the extremely intensified nested polar vortex on Sun, is the catalyst for manifesting a period of intensified solar activities for rendering a grand solar maximum period, and it would be synchronized with the global warming occurrence of the Earth especially during the summer.

In the UVS worldview that perceives gravity is a hyperspherical pushed-in effect, the alignment of Sun-Jupiter-Saturn in inferior conjunction with the mass center of the Sun being cyclically pushed-out to one of the farthest away positions from the the barycenter of the Solar System (BOTSS) in the planetary n-body motion, would intensify the solar inertia motion of a rotating Sun when it oscillates far away from the BOTSS at higher revolving speed with stronger angular momentum during a solar maximum, these effects thus maximize the intensity of the sunspot activities.

An imminent Grand Solar Minimum

From the barycentric perspective, when the PEv values were low (marked X) as a result of the Sun was very near to the quasi SSB during the troughs of the solar minima in 1650 (Wolf number) and SC6 (SIDC) in 1811, there were occurrences of the grand solar minima during the troughs of these solar cycles, and for the solar minimum of SC26 in 2030 the PEv value would also be at a low value. When those PEv values were low during the peaks of the solar maxima of SC2, SC9, SC18, SC22, there was no occurrence of any grand solar minimum at all.

The ~20 year composite cycle of Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn, interacting with the ~11 year half-integral cycle in the barycentric alignments of Jupiter and Saturn barycenter, Sun, and BOTSS, would generate a ~220 year (20x11) long-range half cycle.

Heuristically, the commencing of the solar cycle 25 should result in the sunspot numbers to rise in the coming years until it reaches its solar maximum. Nonetheless, the peak of this solar cycle 25 could be expected to be as low as the solar maximum of the solar cycle 05, which happened in Feb 1805 at 220 years ago from the solar maximum of the solar cycle 05. And towards the end of the solar cycle 25, with its comparable position of BOTSS positioned near the mass center of the Sun, it could manifest a Grand Solar minimum of a lesser Dalton minimum magnitude with the near position during the solar cycle trough in 2030.

This solar minimum anticipated to happen around 2030 with the near superior conjunction of Saturn-Sun-Jupiter and an aligned BJS-Sun-BUN, could be anticipated to be prolonged at around the trough at the end of the solar cycle 25. And this prolonged trough of the solar minimum would be similar to the solar minimum of the solar cycle 06 that had begun in Aug 1810 with the superior conjunction of Saturn-Sun-Jupiter formed in around 1812. And thus the mass center of the Sun was cyclically positioned at the closest point to the barycenter of the Solar System with Uranus and Neptune positioned at the side of Saturn away from Jupiter and the Sun.

The year 1812 was the beginning of the coldest years that last until 1818 during the Dalton minimum (roughly between 1790 and 1830). Despite 1816 was remembered as the year without summer, but that year was not the coldest year between 1812 and 1818.

From the barycentric perspective, the trough period of the Grand Solar Minimum occurring during the anticipated solar minimum in February 2030, is the recurrence of a 220-year long-range solar cycle as a result of a long period barycentric alignment of the four gas giants with the mass center of the Sun and the barycenter of the Solar System. As a result of the near superior conjunction of Saturn-Sun-Jupiter during the anticipated solar minimum with Uranus and Neptune positioned at the side of Saturn away from Jupiter and the Sun, the mass center of the Sun would cyclically approach very near to the barycenter of the Solar System in February 2030, which would coincide with the trough period the solar cycle 26 around its solar minimum.

The full-blown effects of the 220-year long-range solar cycle occurring to Earth after the solar maximum in October 2023, could be expected to begin thereafter till it reaches the deepest trough of the anticipated Grand Solar Minimum in February 2030 when the mass center of the Sun approaches very near to the barycenter of the Solar System, and its effects would then oscillate to wean off thereon.

From the barycentric perspective, a Grand Solar Minimum is indeed imminent.

Little Ice Age

In the UVS worldview, the Little Ice Age events occurred during the grand solar minima were caused by a long cycle precession effect with the orbital forcing of the Earth by the barycentric effects of the Solar System.

The mass center of the Sun with the orbital motion of the major Solar System objects would cyclically cause it to be positioned very near to the BOTSS. The Sun when cyclically positioned at its nearest approach to the BOTSS, is therefore spiraling at its lowest angular momentum. Hence, with reduced total solar irradiance from the Sun during the solar minima, and also the long-ranged cyclical alignments of the Solar System objects with their tidal effects that extremely intensify the nested polar vortex on the Earth during the winters caused by the orbital forcing of its axial tilt, these effects therefore could cyclically render the Little Ice Age phenomena on Earth that would be synchronized with the grand solar minima during the troughs of the solar cycle.

From the barycentric perspective, the superior conjunction of the major Solar System barycenters would cause the Sun to cyclically move very near the BOTSS. And when this coincides with the troughs of the solar minima, it would render the Little Ice Age events. And it was observed when the superior conjunction of the major Solar System barycenters had happened during the peaks of the solar maxima, these barycentric alignments did not manifest any grand solar minimum at all.

The approximate orbital resonance of Jupiter and Saturn has an approximate synodic cycle of ~59.3 years, and it also has a long-range cycle of ~220 years. The orbital resonance of Uranus and Neptune has a sidereal cycle of ~172 years, the orbital resonance of the barycenter of Jupiter and Saturn and the barycenter of Uranus and Neptune has a near synodic cycle of ~177.9 years. The orbital resonance of Jupiter and Saturn has a sidereal cycle of ~20 years, the Sun has an integral solar cycle of ~22 years, in which the half-integral solar cycle averages at ~11 years.

Heuristically, the major climate variations on Earth are primarily and largely governed by the planetary mechanism that renders the long and short solar cycles of the barycentric Solar System.

Based on the UVS model, Sun is impelled by its toroidal vortex to precess in its two-axis spin. Its consolidating vortical motion on the Sun will cause the Sun to almost isotropically radiate charged particles by the reactive centrifugal forces of its manifested vortrices on photosphere.

This is how the eco-systems on Earth are vortically extended far out into the Solar System, and they are dominantly ruled by the BOTSS.

Vortical motion could explain the anomaly on how a stream of intensified charged particles after attaining escape velocity by the culmination of vortical momentum, could eject out from the sunspot.

It is a paradox for thermodynamics of the universe that in the absence of extra heat source, that sunspot could eject ionized gas stronger than the surrounding hotter region of photosphere; this is inexplicable with the thermodynamics concept that posits heat as the first principle for the motion of matter in the observable universe.

Other vortical structures of the Sun

From the UVS perspective, the sunspot's penumbra is a manifested chain of magnetic satellite vortices manifested in a ring torus structure, and it forms around the vortically manifested sunspot.

Based on the UVS model, the dominant dual-core vortex that manifests and impels a sunspot, vortically coalesces charged particles into plasma jets in closed streamlines as the satellite vortices that had formed around its intrinsically spinning dual-core vortex column.

The high speed spin of plasma jet streams in vortical motion within the corona, could explain the corona is much hotter than the surface of the Sun with tightly packed photosphere that has much limited degree of freedom for motion; the kinetic energy of plasma jet streams with vortical motion in high speed spin within the corona are converted to excessive heat.


From the UVS perspective, a dual-core unisonal vortex with its dual-core separated on the surface of photosphere would render the sunspot pair phenomenon.

The dual-core unisonal vortex of the photosphere is caused by the oscillating Sun with its torque-free precession that has intrinsically manifested in its primary two-axis spin.

The oscillating Sun with its vortically regressing viscous matter medium generates its main center of equilibrium and a secondary center of equilibrium, which could be separated on the surface of the photosphere to appear as a sunspot pair.

The UVS research predicates a sunspot pair is a dual-core unisonal vortex of the Sun's photosphere and its dual-core is separated on its surface.

A center of equilibrium is where the vortex column would intrinsically resonate with its torque-free precession to open up by displacement of photosphere with its reactive centrifugal force to vortically form a sunspot.

From the UVS perspective, the observed dynamo effect of a sunspot is caused by a spinning photosphere vortex that generates huge electrical currents and strong magnetic storm around the sunspot, and the magnetohydrodynamics on photosphere beams magnetic field outward into space; magnetic fields around the sunspot and corona loops are caused by the dynamo effect of vortical activities.

Based on unisonal vortex mechanism, the breaking at vortex column of a colossal loop of solar prominence would cause what was observed as the corona mass ejection phenomenon.

The angular momentum from the spinning force of the broken vortex column, would blast charged particles with the reactive centrifugal force that have overcome the escape velocity of the Sun (617.7km/s), thus propagates the ejecta into space.

When instability occurs, such as by the built-up of excessive vortical energy, a dissipating vortex, or the sudden change in vortex intensity when the Sun is perturbed, the solar prominence could break most easily at the mid-section of the vortex column. This is apparently the most vulnerable section with the smallest diameter vortex column that spins at the highest speed with its vortical culmination.

The UVS research predicates a corona mass ejection is caused by the conserved angular momentum in the vortex column of a ruptured solar prominence.
